I see that your currently in Texas, I would say the weather is probably about the same, however the heat is different. I think there is humidity in Texas, NOT here!! It's HOT from June through the beginning of October, pleasant otherwise. It does get cold during the 'winter' months, but NO snow!! I tell my friends back home (Indiana/Chicago) that I've haven't had to shovel the heat yet!!
I'm not sure what the cost of living is in your area, so that question I really couldn't answer...try checking out azcentral.com, there is some healpful info there as well as helpful links.
Gosh! Your locks look SO good that you make me want to combine mine too just so that they'll look as beautiful as yours. LOL (In nappy-dream land right now).
