This pic kinda gives you a little better look at my locz...I gotta take some close-ups of texture.
I combined some of my locz a little over a year ago, now they are double and triple headed dragons, so I have started to trim some locz under the long ones to see how they will hold up to a cut. I'll have to get some pics up to show you all...so far they have been doing well!

Your locks are beautiful. I currently have SL and am considering combining for similar reasons. I am curious about the black thread you used to secure the locks together and how you did that. Can you offer tips?

To all I apologize!!!
I have been busy finishing up my Bachelors degree in nursing(completed Jan 23rd)!!! I will take some pics over the weekend, as well as post some that I have taken over the past few months!

Natch--I simply used black sewing thread, doubled for strength! I check my hair often, as some of the 'sewing' has loosened and I just cut the loose ends (of thread). So far so good, my locs have turn out fine(IMO)! I maintain by latching. I run into Y's every now and then, but I just got a great idea from a post to get a childrens sewing needle...I'll post details if anyone is really interested...I had to pull myself off of Blaqkofi's blog...her locs AND highlights are SLAMMIN!!! I am going to do some research to find someone here in the Phoenix, AZ area that has experience with coloring/highlighting locs...anyone with info feel free to em me!!
